Fresh seeds of the Carolina reaper black chili

This chilli called Carolina black reaper is a somewhat darker variety of the Purple reaper, it has fruits in some cases of a very shiny black colour that turn red when ripe. It is an extremely hot pepper that generally has a wide variety of shapes in its fruit and its cultivation is identical to the rest of the chillies and a spiciness very close to that of the Carolina reaper hp22b (it is probably somewhat less).

Planting data for peppers in general:

Peppers grow optimally at a temperature of 20-25ºC during the day and 15-20ºC at night. Below this range, their growth tends to slow down, and above 35ºC, problems arise. Below 0 degrees, the plant dies. Peppers require organic, loose, sandy soils. They cannot stand waterlogging, which causes fungus and rot. For this reason, they must be grown in well-drained soil, like almost all vegetables.

They can be sown outdoors if night temperatures exceed 10 degrees. They should be buried no more than 2 cm deep and planted at a distance of no less than 50 cm between plants. It is always best to sow in seedbeds indoors and then transplant the plants outdoors when they have several pairs of leaves. In seedbeds it takes 10 to 20 days to sprout, while outdoors it may take a little longer. You can fertilize the soil before planting with some manure or compost. It is best to soak the seeds for 24 hours before sowing.
